Elroy Smith (Smitty)
Elroy, or Smitty as everyone called him, was the father of Donna Eaton and Rose McKinley.
He was married to Lillian Smith before he died in 1968 of a heart attack.
Elroy was a farmer most his life, but in his later years he was able to accomplish
his goal of owning a store. The last years of his life were spent running Smitty's Bait & Feed Shop in Johnston, Iowa.
